It will be a busy inaugural weekend of racing for two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series’ champion Andrew Ranger as he will be competing in both the NASCAR K&N East and West Series.

The Canadian will first contest the K&N East Series’ inaugural stand-alone race at Richmond (Va.) Raceway, the Blue Ox 100 on Thursday.

For Ranger, it will be the second time at the Richmond track, having finished 33rd in 2008 while competing for Fitz Racing in the Nationwide Series.

Then, he will be off to Miller Motorsports Park with his Waste Management team to take part in a K&N West Series’ race on Saturday.

This will be his first ever visit to the Utah 2.2-mile road course but, surely, considering his previous track record on that type of track, the Roxton Pond, Quebec native remains pretty optimistic on his chances.

Andrew Ranger has had a rather impressive track record in both K&N Series with a win, a pole and four top 10s in seven-career NKNPS East starts to go along with a win, a pole and two top 10s in three career NKNPS West races.
