Andrew Ranger will be competing in his second race of the NASCAR K&N East series this weekend at the Martinsville Speedway and in preparation for this event, the young Canadian driver takes part in a test held on Plattsburgh’s race track.

This test and more seat time should be quite beneficial as the double NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion needed more time to get acquainted with his new Chevrolet and his new team.

“Our primary goal was to do time on the track as well as get the car set-up for the upcoming race,” stated the Roxton Pond, Quebec driver.

“I did not have much time to get acquainted with all my new surroundings and each occasion I get is always important.”

Andrew Ranger will be on board team NDS Motorsports’ No.35 car Sunday afternoon on the famed Martinsville circuit where Ranger had the chance to compete in the Nationwide race last year.

Meanwhile, the NASCAR Canadian Tire series will kick-off its 4th season on Delaware, Ontario’s oval this coming Saturday. Obviously Ranger won’t be there, but it is not impossible that he could be on track for the Mosport oval event in two weeks.

“Mr. Jacombs is trying to finalize a deal for us to race in Mosport and if there is no conflict with regards with scheduling and if we have the financial backing, well I could be behind the wheel of the No 27 car.”
