The 25th and last NASCAR Craftsman Truck race of the season (and Craftsman Truck race ever since Camping World is picking up the sponsorship next year), the Ford 200, was run on Friday evening at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Veteran Todd Bodine (Tundra No 30) won the event followed by Brian Scott (Tundra No 16) and Kevin Harvick (Chevy No 2). Points leader Johnny Benson (Tundra No 23) was only three points ahead of second-place Ron Hornaday (Chevy No 33) coming to that race but by finishing seventh and Hornaday eighth, he grabbed the championship with a mere seven points.

It is now well known that Benson will not return with the Bill Davis Racing team that helped him that championship. Canadians Mario Gosselin (Chevy No 12) and J.R. Fitzpatrick (Chevy No 71) finished respectively 24th and 32nd.
