The 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series schedule has been unveiled and will feature more than 12 dates at 12 different tracks across six provinces.
All the familiar venues will be back next year with Edmonton returning to the schedule after a one-year hiatus but the series won’t be back in the streets of Toronto.
For the first time in series history, the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will begin its season at the 2.459-mile Mosport International Raceway road course while it will close with a new champion crowned at Kawartha Speedway, the .375-mile oval on Sept. 22.
