After months of speculation in the media, Danica Patrick’s sponsor, GoDaddy.com has issued an alert regarding Patrick’s future.

The alert said “it's the question that has people buzzing...a story fueled with drama that transcends the sporting world...reports have been consumed by speculation...until Tuesday in downtown Phoenix, Ariz., when Go Daddy Girl and IndyCar Star Danica Patrick finally reveals her NASCAR decision.”

There will be a press conference at 1PM Eastern time, in Phoenix, Arizona where Patrick, the only woman to win an IndyCar race, will reveal her plans. Reports buzzing around the media in the US on Monday evening say it’s a done deal with JR Motorsports.

JR Motorsports, co-owned by Rick Hendrick, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., his sister Kelly Earnhardt, and his cousin and former crew chief, have been in negotiations with Patrick for the last few months.

GoDaddy.com is also a sponsor of Mark Martin’s Hendrick Motorsports Team.

If she decides to race, for whatever NASCAR team, it would be in the second tier, Nationwide Series, when it did not conflict with the IndyCar series. Also, it is possible for her to run the ARCA race at Daytona International Speedway which is run one week before the Daytona 500.

It’s expected Patrick will participate in the Automobile Racing Club of America Series test Dec. 18-19 at Daytona International Speedway, according to sources. She likely would need to participate in the ARCA race to be eligible to compete in the Nationwide Series event in February.
