While Marcos Ambrose was in victory lane, at Watkins Glen, celebrating his first Sprint Cup victory Greg Biffle and Boris Said were in the garage having at each other.

Said precipitated the wild, last-lap, crash which sent David Ragan hard into the fence and sending David Reutimann’s car flying. Both wrecked drivers were seen at the track medical center and released.

After the race Biffle went over to Said who was still strapped in his car. Biffle, according to Said’s post-race interview on ESPN “I went over to go talk to him, and he wouldn't even let me get out of the car. He comes over and throws a few little baby punches. Then when I get out, he runs away and hides behind some big guys. But he won't hide from me long. I won't settle it out on the track. It's not right to wreck cars. He'll show up at a race with a black eye one of these days. I'll see him somewhere."

Said explained the Ragan crash “"(Ragan) was getting into me a lot. I didn't want to wreck him. I just had to stay on the track, and he didn't give me any room. That's the only thing I feel bad about it."

David Ragan said, on television, “I felt like I had a good run; I felt like I had Boris clear and I think he got a little better run that we did and he just hooked us. He certainly could have given a little more of a break and we all could have gotten through there and not torn up anything. But he was aggressive and we were all aggressive. He hooked me and I hit hard."

Later Ragan tweeted “Very hard hit today. Gonna be feeling it tomorrow. The prob with Boris is he has no respect for anyone...”

Another driver, Regan Smith, tweeted “From my view David Ragan should be none to pleased with Boris... That was downright dirty an in a very dangerous place.”

The incident with Biffle had more to do with a long standing feud with Said according to Said’s crew chief Nick Harrison.

Said had some fighting words for Biffle. "I'm more upset with Greg Biffle. He's the most unprofessional little scaredy-cat I've ever seen in my life. He won't even fight me like a man afterward. So if someone texts me his address, I'll go see him Wednesday at his house and show him what he really needs. He needs a frigging whooping. And I'm going to give it to him. He was flipping me off, giving the finger, totally unprofessional, two laps down. I mean, he's a chump.”
