Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the Stratosphere hotel want to make it up to the 400 Super Bowl fans that were denied seating at Sunday’s big football game.

The NFL has offered tickets to next year’s Super Bowl and three-times the face value (about $2400 USD) to those turned away from the big event.

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is owned by Bruton Smith’s Speedway Motorsports Inc. a company known for capitalizing on current events to promote it’s races.

Here’s how LVMS and the Stratosphere will reward the fans who were denied seats at the Packers vs. Steelers match.

All those qualified fans will be offered tickets to the Sprint Cup weekend races March 4-6 and some of them may also win airfare and three nights of accommodations at the Stratosphere as well.

“It’s a shame what happened to all of those fans who got to the Super Bowl and then had nowhere to sit,” said LVMS president Chris Powell.

“I can assure them that the seats we are giving them are real, and they will have good seats to watch the Kobalt Tools 400 and Sam’s Town 300.”
Of course fans have to show proof of purchasing a seat that was denied, last weekend, and from all those four “lucky” ones will receive three free nights at the Stratosphere Hotel which is located at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip.

“Our heart goes out to those fans that didn’t get to see the game,” said Todd Ford, Director of Marketing at the Stratosphere.

“This unique opportunity will allow those fans to enjoy great NASCAR racing, have a chance to experience our newly remodelled rooms, plus all of the excitement Las Vegas has to offer.”
