Only about 15 teams have committed for the full 2009 season of the Camping World Truck Series, and NASCAR met with team owners earlier this month to talk about ways to cut costs as and one idea under discussion is to get rid of pit stops totally.

Changes are probably going to be announce this week and the pit stops proposition is getting more and more support from owners as well as drivers. Ron Hornaday, the 2007 Truck series champion and 2008 runner-up, believes that it should have been done a long time ago.

Many believe that if that the sanctioning body does not adopt solution, one idea also under discussion is to limit the over-the-wall number of crewmen.
