NASCAR fans will be busy once again with their favourite series this weekend as the Nationwide boys are back in action, this time for the Camping World RV Sales 200 Saturday afternoon at the Dover International Speedway in Delaware, a race that will be seen on ESPN 2 and TSN 2 in the afternoon, on RIS (RDS Alternate) in French on Saturday evening and on TSN Sunday morning at 3.00 am.
Canadian Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 9) will participate in the race as D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) is also on the entry list. Sprint Cup boys will also race the same track Sunday afternoon in the Camping World RV 400 presented by AAA. It will be shown live on ABC at 2:00 pm. This time, Patrick Carpentier will drive his usual No 10 Dodge.
Craftsman Truck teams will meet at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Qwik Liner Las Vegas 300 on Saturday evening, a race to be seen live on SPEED.
As far as the NASCAR Canadian Tire series is concerned, it will race the Atlantic Dodge Dealers 200 at Riverside Speedway in Antigonish, Nova Scotia on Saturday evening. Scott Steckley (Dodge No 22) might just clinch his first NASCAR championship there.
By the way, young J.R. Fitzpatrick should test for a Craftsman Truck ride next week in Iowa.
