There was no official qualifying session for Sunday's LifeLock 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Friday afternoon since rain cancelled everything as the session was under way at the Michigan International Speedway.

Consequently, Nascar had to build a line up according to owner's points.

Championship leader Kyle Busch (Camry No 18) will thus have the pole with Jeff Burton (Chevy No 31) at his side.

Dale Earnhardt (Chevy No 88) will start third followed by Carl Edwards (Ford No 99) and Denny Hamlin (Camry No 11).

Luckily for Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 10), his owner's points were barely good enough to start from the... dead last position though he was running in the 21st place in practice.

Jason Leffler (Chevy No 70) and Tony Raines (Chevy No 34) did not have enough points to make it.
