NASCAR fans will surely follow some of the season's most important moments this weekend as the Sprint Cup drivers will be fighting it off in the third race of the Chase for the Cup at Kansas Speedway for the Camping World RV Sales 400 on Sunday afternoon.
Obviously, point's leader Carl Edwards (Ford No 99) will be the one to watch while Canadian Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 10) will still be in action looking for a ride next year. The race will be seen live on ABC, TSN and RDS or RIS (French) at the end of the afternoon.
The Nationwide Series will be at the same track late on Saturday afternoon for the Kansas Lottery 300. Qualifying will be live in the morning on TSN while the race will be televised live on ESPN and TSN.
Curiously, Canadian Andrew Ranger (Dodge No 22) is on the entry list though he should be racing at Kawartha Downs in Peterborough, Ontario for the last race of the year in the NASCAR Canadian Tire series.
Scott Steckley (Dodge No 22) will be looking at his first ever championship. He is closely followed by Don Thomson (Chevy No 4) as defending champ Ranger (Ford No 27), third in the championship, has very little chance of winning the series a second year in a row. But who knows? By the way, Craftsman Truck teams are off this weekend.
