NASCAR's Nationwide and Sprint Cup teams will be in action at Chicagoland's 1.5-mile, tri-oval this weekend.

Nationwide drivers will run the Dollar General 300 powered by Coca-Cola Friday evening, as the race will be shown on TSN and RDS. The only Canadian listed for qualifying is Ontario's D.K.
Kennington (Dodge No 81).

On the other hand, Sprint Cup drivers will run the Saturday evening LifeLock 400 also televised at TSN and RDS. Canadian Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 10) will try to qualify in a LifeLock sponsored car.

The Craftsman Truck guys will be back next week at the Kentucky Speedway.

The big news this week-end is that Tony Stewart (Camry No 20) has announced he was becoming the part owner of the Haas CNC team (Chevrolet No 66 and 70) for whom he will drive in 2009.
