It was not the usual bash and bang the NASCAR Camping World Truck  series could expect while racing at the Texas Motor Speedway on Friday evening.  There was still a lot of action, but most of it was link to logistical decisions.

There were very few yellow flag situations at the mile and a half track for that race so pit stops quickly became very strategic.

Todd Bodine (Tundra No 30) gambled on fuel at the very end to clinch his fifth win in Texas. It is the first time a truck driver reach the cap of five victories at this track.

Matt Crafton (Chevy No 88) finished second, far behind Bodine. Colin Braun (Ford No 6) completed the podium, followed by last year champ Johnny Benson (Tundra No 1) and Rick Crawford (Ford No 14).

The only Canadian in the race, Quebec-born Floridian Mario Gosselin (Chevy No 12), experienced problems that set him back in 29th place during the race.

Matt Crafton now leads the series with a 30-point advantage over Ron Hornaday (Chevy No 33) and Mike Skinner (Tundra No 5).

The next Camping World truck series race will take place at the Michigan International Speedway on June 13.
