After losing their main sponsor last year, the Wood Bros. will be able to field their famed No. 21 car in the 2009 Daytona 500 and 8 others races throughout the year, including the season-ending Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Motorcraft, a Ford Motor Company brand of automotive parts will be the primary sponsor and 1988 Cup winner Bill Elliott will be behind the wheel of those 9 events.
The Wood Brothers are acknowledged pioneers in the sport of stockcar racing, and have earned 96 wins in more than 50 years of NASCAR competition - second most in Ford Racing history.
