2017 will see an all-new Porsche dealership open in Saint-Hubert, which will be the first for the brand on the South Shore of Montreal. The new Centre Porsche Rive-Sud will operate under the ownership of the Groupe Lauzon, long established on the North Shore with its Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche concessions. The automotive group also recently opened the first Porsche boutique Porsche in North America at the DIX30 shopping complex, also on the South Shore.
In a new building rising four floors, the new facility will have a total floor space of 100,000 sq ft and include a showroom able to accommodate 17 new and pre-owned vehicles, interior parking to display over 100 vehicles, a Porsche Exclusive configuration hall, 15 service bays, a waiting lounge with a Café Carrera counter and much more.
Construction of the Centre Porsche Rive-Sud necessitated an investment of over $17 million, and 25 new jobs were created in the region, taking effect from the first year of operation.
