BMW revealed its lineup today for the New York Auto Show. The German manufacturer will use the press days to introduce its Twin Power Turbo 4-cylinder mill as well as the first vehicle to feature it in North America.
In January, BMW had said it intended to revive the engine in the compact X1 crossover first. Though the automaker hasn’t confirmed the information, we expect that all models currently powered by the naturally aspirated, six-cylinder engine (1 Series, 3 Series, Z4 and X3) will inherit it one day or another.
BMW will also be presenting its ActiveE electric vehicle, demonstrating the new features of the ConnectedDrive technology and wrapping up the 2013 6 Series Coupe’s world tour.
