Geneva 2017: New Ford Fiesta Makes Big Splash With ST Version

The first 3-cylinder Ford Performance model ever

Attendees at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show were treated to the world premiere this week of the ST version of the next-generation Ford Fiesta.

For the new model, Ford is replacing the naturally aspirated 1.6L 4-cylinder engine with an all-new 1.5L 3-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost version – the first 3-cylinder motor for the Ford Performance division. Power output remains unchanged at 197 hp, and 0-100 km/h acceleration is announced at 6.7 seconds. Drivers will be able to choose between three driving modes: Normal, Sport and Track.
