Erich Sonntag, BMW's project manager for the new engines said, "We're confident that we have a very smooth, strong-performing engine with good economy. This is a very good engine."
Eager enthusiasts and current owners can't wait to get their hands on the next generation MINI, which, when it arrives in 2007, will once again redefine the compact hatchback scene. This time, however, the competition won't have it so easy; with the new engines on its side, the gen-two MINI might just be flawless.
