2005-2006 Nissan Altima SE-R

Between 2002 and 2006, those consumers were introduced to the third generation of the Altima. 2004 saw the arrival of a sportier version, the SE-R, which made its public debut at the New York auto show that spring. The model was offered for the 2005 and 2006 model years and ran on a 260-hp 3.5L V6 engine. A manual gearbox was available, as well as torque steer on acceleration (the Altima was strictly a front-wheel drive car. The SE-R would be Nissan’s last go at producing a truly sporty sedan.
