1973-1977 Nissan Violet SSS Coupe
The Datsun 510 was sold in North America up until 1981. Older folks will remember that the Datsun name was subsequently abandoned in favour of Nissan in our market. The Nissan Violet shown in this photo was not actually sold here; it debuted in Japan in 1973, and a new variant of it appeared in 1978. It was called the Stanza.
