August's record setting performance of 627 new vehicle sales is just one of a year and a half long (18-month) consecutive string of unprecedented monthly volume.

Also performing well are Nissan's Altima and Maxima sedans, plus its Murano crossover SUV, three of the brand's strongest sellers. Altima's 1,545 units sold represents its best sales month ever, an amazing statistic considering the current generation car is going into its third model year, a time when the majority of new vehicles normally begin dropping in sales.
The future continues to look bright for Nissan and Infiniti, with the former set to launch its all-new full-size Titan pickup truck offensive this fall, and full-size Armada SUV shortly thereafter. Infiniti will additionally offer a more luxuriously appointed version of the Armada early next year dubbed Q56, which will compete against the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator and Lexus LX 470.
