Intrigue has made a complete switch from the 3.8-litre V6 that it started with two years ago, having moved to the 3.5-litre V6 that turns out 215 hp @ 5500 rpm and 230 pound-feet of torque @ 4400 rpm. The only transmission is an electronically-controlled 4-speed automatic.
The base GX model has gone from $27,199 in 1999 to $28,365 in 2000, while the GL model went from $28,779 to $29,945 and the GLS went from $31,839 to $32,595.
Standard equipment on all Intrigue models includes tinted glass, power side mirrors, air conditioning, body-color side moldings, 16-inch silver-painted cast-aluminum wheels, variable speed wipers, cruise control, cloth front buckets, a tilt steering wheel, remote trunk opening, power windows, an AM/FM stereo/cassette system, 4-wheel ABS, electronic traction control, and an anti-theft system.
