FORMULA TOUR 1600Elsewhere, the magnificent Circuit Mont-Tremblant was host to Formula Tour 1600 drivers for a dual event.
A young wolf named Rémy Audette, from Ste-Anne-des-Lacs, Quebec (sponsored by CMV Novatech/Portes Dimensions), finally won the 2007 championship thanks to an impressive victory on Saturday and a second-place finish on Sunday.

It was the first FT1600 championship for Audette, who took the title away from popular racer/commentator Didier Schraenen. The latter also raced for CMV.

Winning seems to run in the Audette family's genes, as Rémy's older brother Mathieu won the same championship just two years ago. What an accomplishment for this family!
