TOYOTA PIRELLI CUP

This year, veteran driver Yves Legris took home the championship trophy in the Toyota Pirelli Cup.

Legris, who entered the weekend as the overall leader in the standings, finished fourth during both races in Tremblant. His 107 points allowed him to secure the title for the 2007 season.

Following Legris in the final standings are Jean-François Veilleux (98 points), Jean-François Dumoulin (87 points), Jacques Bélanger (77 points) and Benjamin Distaulo (75 points).

Congratulations, Yves! And kudos to your entire crew for helping you earn the championship.

HANKOOK TOURING

Bruno Desfossés, the new Hankook Touring champion!

On Saturday, Marc-Antoine Camirand (BMW Z3) added a lot of intrigue by winning the first event. He was followed by Desfossés (Acura RSX-S), Mathieu Audette (Honda Civic), Jocelyn Hébert (Acura Integra Type-R) and Rémi Villeneuve (Subaru Impreza).

Audette, the defending champion, got his revenge on Sunday, crossing the finish line ahead of Desfossés, Villeneuve, Hébert and Patrick Boyer (Acura Integra).

Unfortunately, our colleague at auto123.com, Pascal Bastien (Honda Civic Si-R), suffered from engine problems during the open session prior to the dual event. Therefore, he was unable to fight Bruno Desfossés for the championship.

After an impressive collection of victories this year, Desfossés earned a well-deserved championship.
