OptimumG will hold a three-day technical seminar about race car dynamics and data acquisition at Montreal's ETS, the Ecole de technologie superieure, February 5-6-7.

The seminar will be given by the president of OptimumG, Claude Rouelle, a high performance and vehicle designer, research and development engineer with over 30 years of experience in design, test and automotive engineering.

Rouelle has worked as an engineer in several categories of motorsport, such as Formula 1, IndyCar, Indy Lights, Australian V8 Supercars, Touring cars, Formula 3 and more.

The automotive industry is not only about finding the correct set-up, it is also about understanding why a set-up change is working or not working, and knowing how to quantify this advantage. It is about understanding how, why and how much certain factors affect vehicle behaviour, rather than relying on experience and intuition. Perhaps most importantly, it is about knowing how to reduce the time and money spent on the track to find the best set-up.
