The all-new Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid celebrated its global premiere today at the 2016 Paris Auto Show alongside the new 911 GT3 Cup race car.
“The new Panamera marks a revolution in design and technology. It truly is a luxury saloon. Nevertheless, the model still retains the identity of the 911 and the genes of the 918 Spyder super sports car and 919 Hybrid race car ― something that will no doubt be music to the ears of all Porsche fans”, said Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Porsche Executive Board, while introducing the new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid.
This gasoline/electric luxury sedan with all-wheel drive combines a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 engine with an electric motor to deliver a total system output of 462 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It breaks the 100 km/h barrier in just 4.6 seconds.
Additionally, thanks to the improved lithium-ion cells offering an increased capacity, the new Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid offers an electric range of around 50 kilometres based on European testing protocols.

As for the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, this 1,200kg single-seater is motivated by a 4.0L flat engine delivering 485 horsepower. The new aerodynamics at the front and rear ensure even greater traction and faster lap times.
