TORONTO - Honda Canada today announced the suggested retail price of the all new 2003 Honda Pilot. The eight-passenger sport utility vehicle, which goes on sale June 3, will have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $41,000 for the EX model and $43,000 for the EX-L.
The 2003 Pilot is equipped with an efficient and advanced 3.5-litre, 240-horsepower, VTEC V6 engine, VTM-4 four-wheel drive and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The Pilot stands as a leader in its class with the highest combined fuel economy, widest wheel track for stability and largest cargo capacity at 2557 litres (90.3 cu.-ft.).
The interior is equipped with a number of versatile, passenger-friendly features, such as front and rear climate control systems, a multitude of "stuffable" storage areas, nine beverage holders, four accessory power outlets and versatile centre console which includes a dedicated cell phone cradle.
The 2003 Honda Pilot is exclusively built at the Honda of Canada Manufacturing plant in Alliston, Ontario, along with the Honda Odyssey, Honda Civic, Acura 1.7EL and Acura MDX.
