Consumers looking to buy a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox will have to bide their time, at least until the spring of 2017 when the vehicle is scheduled to make its debut at Canadian dealerships with a starting price of $26,995. Equipped with a number of advanced comfort and safety features, the new Equinox will initially be offered with a 1.5L engine, to be followed later in 2017 by available 2.0L turbo and diesel engines. The new model will also feature an all-new 9-speed automatic transmission, which will feature as well in the next iteration of the Chevrolet Malibu.
Among the other features owners will benefit from in the all-new Equinox, forward collision alert (with following distance indicator), lane departure warning and side blind zone alert systems, as well as compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto.
