Quebeckers Antoine L’Estage and co-driver Nathalie Richard won Sunday their sixth rally victory of 2010. This allowed the couple to win the Triple Crown of rallies with the Championship titles in Canada, North America and the United States.
On board of their Mitsubishi Evo, the new champions finished the season in high fashion with this win during the last rally of the season, in Bancroft, Ontario. The Tall Pines Rally is well known for its difficult, slippery roads.
This sixth victory adds to 10 podiums both in Canada and the U.S. for L’Estage and Richard. It was a first Triple Crown victory for L’Estage – the second driver in history to win such honour – and a second victory for Richard who also won the title in 2004.
