Ford Fiesta driver Mikko Hirvonen leads the presigious, Rally Monte-Carlo, opening round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge.

Peugeot driver Stephane Sarrazin lost about three minutes with a puncture on the final stage of the day, meaning that Ford´s Mikko Hirvonen now extends his lead to 41.9 seconds.

Reigning IRC champion Kris Meeke of Great Britain is up to second in his Peugeot UK car.

Skoda´s Juho Hanninen completes the provisional podium as the crews head back to Valence.

The winner of SS4 was Sebastien Ogier who now lies 5th in the standings after he went off the road on snow placed by the spectators on the road on SS3.
