The Quebec Rally Championship is a story of domination, as the winners of the four-wheel drive and Quebec Cup have remained unchanged.
Steeve Hobbs and co-driver Jean-Mathieu Tremblay have won the four-wheel drive category for a fourth consecutive time in their Subaru Impreza WRX.
Hobbs and Tremblay finished first in front of Sylvain Vincent, co-driven by his son Simon, and the team of Martin Perreault and Marie-Philippe Simard. Both teams were also on Subaru WRX making it an all WRX podium in Lac-aux-Sables.
In the Quebec Cup, Sylvain Bazinet and David Legault also captured a fourth consecutive victory in their Honda Civic. Carl Tremblay and co-driver Louis Dicaire took second position in this disputed category just ahead of Philippe Corbeil and Jerry Plourde, both in a VW Golf.
In the Jon Nichols' Cup, Philippe Roberge and Éric Lachance secured the 2011 title with a victory ahead of Julien Rondeau and Serge Paquin, also in a Honda Civic. They were the only two competitors in this category this weekend.
There is only one event left to this 2011 season of the Quebec Rally Championship.
