Nepta Concept
A four seater cabriolet with sleek lines, the Nepta concept is sure to have autoshow attendees flocking to the Renault booth. The flowing look to the cars body is important to communicate movement and elegance, while the interior treatment is befitting of a high class touring car.
"Nepta's breathtaking proportions and carefully tailored, [and] innovative elegance are in perfect keeping with Renault's long tradition in body design. Its unique opening panels and styling which combines volume and vitality makes Nepta a truly modern vehicle," says Renault's Senior Vice President, Corporate Design, Patrick le Quément.
Aluminum accenting is used for key elements on the lower portions of the Nepta's body, (including sills, and front / rear spoilers) and unique LED headlamps are automatically adaptable to various driving conditions.
Power comes from a 3.5 litre, 420 horsepower V6 with direct injection that is attached to a 7-speed automatic gearbox with steering wheel mounted shift controls.
Renault says that the Nepta is a combination of a dream car and a passion for engineering excellence.
