Renault released the pricing on the Twizy today, the French automaker’s first fully electric, urban two-seater. Coming to town at the end of the year and set to tackle scooters head-on, it will stand out on the European market thanks to its diminutive size and unique design.
Two versions will be available. Featuring less equipment and lacking doors, the Urban includes 13-inch wheels, an airbag, seatbelts (4-point in front and 3-point in back), four disc brakes, two glove compartments and storage nooks under and behind the passenger seat.
The Technic features panels that double as doors and a more aggressive look, including a metallic paint job, aluminum wheels and a white seat. Optional carbon trim can adorn the side openings, glove compartments and roof.
2,320 mm long, 1,191 mm wide and 1,461 mm high, the Twizy is slightly smaller than a smart fortwo.
