Inspired by the Mercedes CLS, RIDES Magazine's Hyundai Sonata Turbo looks like a mean Korean machine ready to eat the streets.

Just by looking at the exterior, you can tell major work was done. RIDES designed its own body kit, side skirts, rear wing and roof spoiler. Adding to the visual candy, a set of 20-inch Reenen Modular M9 wheels were added along with some lighting modifications such as painted headlamps, smoked tailamps and a change of color on the grille that is now matte black to match the now-blackened beltline and other bits that were also modified in black.

The interior has also been worked with a mix of black leather and suede being held together by contrasting red stitching that give this interior a rather unique and classy look. If you were not already shaken by those modifications, the sound system surely will! The final touch was to add two 12-inch JBL subwoofers to make sure you are fully awake when going to work.

Have you noticed that no mention was made on engine modifications? That's because very little was to the 2.0L Turbo engine. It received only minor add-ons, adding only a few horses to the great-looking car. Maybe another SEMA project for Hyundai next year?
