Team Germany defeated Team GB on Saturday to win the Nations Cup of the Race of Champions for a third year in a row.

The event, which is held in Düsseldorf, Germany, this year, saw Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher conquer adversity once again, this time at home.

The champions did not disappoint their fans. Schumacher won his head-to-head with Plato, of Team GB, in the first of the best-of-three finale. He won by two seconds over his rival in the KTM-X-Bows.

Priaulx then won the second run against Schumacher on board of the Audi R8 LMS, but the Formula 1 champion was able to win the last of the three races and consequently win a third cup for Germany.

Sebastian Vettel had beaten Jeroen Bleekemolen in a KTM X-Bow in the runs leading to a semi-final spot.

The Race of Champion will be held tomorrow. Sebastian Vettel will provide a special performance of his world-winning RB6 car for the grand pleasure of the tens of thousands of fans.
