Formula 1 Champion Sebastian Vettel and multiple World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb were the last addition to an impressive list of popular drivers and champions that will participate to this year’s edition of the Race of Champions.
Michael Schumacher, Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen and NASCAR driver Carl Edwards and several other star drivers will also participate to the event held in Düsseldorf, Germany, on November 27-28.
Others drivers to compete include Travis Pastrana, Heikki Kovalainen and The Professor, Alain Prost.
X-Games regular Tanner Foust could make the headlines this year. In 2008. Foust went on to beat Jenson Button who became World Champion the following year with Brawn GP.
The cars used in the event are the Audi R8 LMS, Porsche 911 and VW Scirocco as well as ROC cars KTM X-Bow, Solution F Prototype, FJ Racecar and the RX150 buggy.
The goal of the competition, as presented by the IMP President Fredrik Johnsson, is to “find the ultimate ‘Champion of Champions’.”
