A quick calculation shows that if all 1,000 male workers make a deposit 400 times apiece, the entire debt will be wiped out and the Timisoara fertility center will be the best stocked in all of Europe. Not a bad plan.

Incidentally, ARO exported a small number of 4x4s to Canada in the 1970s. Reports of shoddy workmanship and poor reliability plagued the importer, and when the brand finally pulled out its owners were left high and dry with useless warranties as their were no parts to service the vehicles.
Back to the modern day ARO factory, there's no telling if the company's creative approach to debt repayment is going to work but its creditors can at least take some satisfaction in knowing each and every worker will be lending a hand in the restructuring process. Hopefully the domestic Big 3 manufacturers won't get any ideas.
