What do you get when you remove the wheels of a 2006 smart fortwo diesel and replace them with skis and a snow track? The answer is this unique creation from Tod Anderson, a mechanic living in Ottawa.

Anderson, who designed the skis in-house, claims the smart fortwo was the ideal candidate for such a transformation because of its rear-engine, rear-wheel drive configuration. His smart snowmobile can reach speeds of 70 km/h.
In all, it took him about a month and a half and $7,000 to finish the project.
