"Dutch artist-architect John Körmeling is blessed with an infectious imagination," said Wayne Baerwaldt, director, The Power Plant. "His intense imagination is reflected in his humorous and clever solutions to all kinds of issues. Körmeling has chosen to work with Saab cars that compliment his creativity and kindle the desire for freedom of movement in Canada. This project may offer motorists the most innovative way to test drive a Saab."

During The Power Plant's annual fundraiser dubbed the Powerball, those in attendance, including media representatives witnessed a first hand look at the Saab-sponsored exhibit. After the party Saab did the neighborly thing and chauffeured home attendees in the brand's new 9-3 convertible.

If you'd like to take a spin in a new 9-2X, the John Körmeling 'Mobile Fun' ferris wheel exhibit will remain open to the public until August 8, 2004, from 12 PM until 11 PM every day. In addition, the Power Plant is presenting an exhibition of John Körmeling's unorthodox work in their gallery. To find out more about the exhibit, call (416) 973-4949 or visit www.thepowerplant.org.
