Anyway, I digress. It seems the Ferrari company got a tad miffed at the show using mock Ferraris, even though they wouldn’t initially agree to provide vehicles for the show, so they kicked up a bit of a stink. The end result was Ferrari donating a couple of real cars on the proviso that all replicas were destroyed.
The show ran from 1984 til 1989 and used a number of other vehicles during its lifespan, most of them driven by baddies of course, so it was, and still is, if you can find it, a great show for us car guys. The acting? Well I’m not a professional TV/Film critic (fortunately!) so all I’m going to say is, the show had some great cars in it.
