That's right, the beloved current-generation BMW E90 3 Series sedan that first appeared in 2008 will cease production in October of this year.

For anyone wondering which model that is, it's the 4-door sedan. The E92 and E93 M models (as well as the 3 Series coupe and convertible) are set to continue production till June 2012. And long before the gas-powered models gas out (ha ha), the diesel-burning 335d will stop being produced in August.

Don't shed tears just yet. Think of it this way; sure this is going to be your (possibly) last chance to get a naturally aspirated M3 sedan, but imagine what the future might hold.
