During the “Le Mans Classic” event held on the famous track, the Survolt came into life and was driven around the long road circuit by endurance racer Vanina Ickx of Belgium, the daughter of the legendary Jacky Ickx.
The car ran in full electric trim, which is a first in itself. French car manufacturer Citroen is currently investigating the viability of 100% electric vehicles, including race cars.

“Out on the track, I had a very good feeling of the car. It is a genuine race vehicle. It displayed excellent potential,” she added.
