Jaguar's convertible variant of the XKR-S – its quickest and most potent machine ever – will make its world premier at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Like the model presented in Geneva last March, the Jaguar XKR-S convertible will feature a 5.0L supercharged V8 kicking out 542 hp and 502 lb-ft.
The XKR-S Coupe leaps from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, but we expect the dash to take a little longer in the convertible, as its drop-top tacks on a few extra kilos.
The Jaguar XKR-S Convertible will be flanked by the C-X16 Concept as well as the Land Rover DC100 and DC100 Sport prototypes, a daring duo of burly SUVs whose design will serve as inspiration for the next Defender.
