Hummer Brand Identity is Hot

The stock market isn't the only thing rising as coalition forces storm Baghdad, Hummer sales are booming.
But unlike after the Gulf War that premiered the military HUMVEE twelve years ago, and resulted in the ultimate marketing program for AM General, the Hummer H1 isn't today's big seller - probably due to its $150,000+ asking price.
A new set of commando wannabes are now lining up to take home General Motor's Hummer H2, much more affordable at $70,745.

With embedded reporters feeding video phone images of that familiar 7-slat grille back to CNN, CBS, ABC, MSNBC and even Al Jazeera for that matter, Hummer's brand identity is skyrocketing like a patriot missile.
And what to do if you don't have the 70 large to boost your bravado? Drop a hundred or two on Hummer branded gear. Hats, shirts and coats displaying the Hummer logo are all the rage currently.
The crossover segment is quickly becoming one of the most heated verticals in the automotive field.
