Horse power ranges from 110hp up to 260 hp, and the V6 AWD version boasts the quickest 0-60mph time of just 6.9 seconds. Fuel consumption ranges from 24.4 mpg for the top of the line V6 AWD Auto model, through 31.7 mpg for the 2.0 Turbo EcoTec FWD Auto (the one that we are most likely to see), and if we were lucky enough to get the 2.0CDTI Diesel, then we could expect to receive 58.9 mpg (all figures combined ratings).
The new Insignia is really taking the boundaries of technology forward with innovative items like front mounted cameras which can actually read road signs and relay information regarding those to the driver via the dashboard display. This system can also recognize the lines on the highway and can warn drowsy drivers should they start to wander across them.
So there you have it, will the Insignia be the next Saturn product? Only time will tell I guess, but I for one, hope so. GM must be proud of what they have achieved with Saturn of late, so it just makes good sense to keep the brand moving forward.
