Jaguar will be introducing the XKR-S at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, broadening the XK range and serving up the most potent series production machine of its history.
The XKR-S will be equipped with a supercharged V8 generating 542 hp and 501 ft-lb of torque. The British marque claims this powerhouse will allow the XKR-S to leap from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds en route to top speeds of 300 km/h.
The suspension and its active dynamics system have also been upgraded and, according to Jaguar, ensure greater precision and agility.
We should find out more about the machine at the show opening on March 1. Jaguar will take the opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its fabulous Type E, giving car buffs the chance to drive one at the Parc des Eaux Vives.
