The enhancements to Thrifty.com include:
- A time saving 5-step booking process that allows users to view rates at one time for all available car types;
- The ability to select optional equipment such as ski racks, cell phones and child safety seats, among other options;
- Calculation of estimated total charges (including local taxes, surcharges and airport fees);
- The capability to change or cancel a reservation that was made previously;
- The option to book one-way rentals (where available);
- E-mail confirmation of the completed transaction;
- Driving directions and printable maps from Mapquest(TM);
- The ability to view Thrifty.com in English or French; and
- Personalized service for Blue Chip Express Rental Program(R) members. Members who provide their Blue Chip account number and password at the time of booking can speed through the process because many of the field selections are automatically populated based on the profile the customer has on file with Thrifty.
