Despite offering up that Jeep mentality and two engine options (2.0L 4-cyl and a 2.4L 4-cyl) as well as FWD and AWD, as well as three transmission choices (5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and a CVT), the Jeep Compass falls flat when it comes to customer satisfaction according to Consumer Reports. Less than half of all Compass owners would buy another Compass based on a low owner satisfaction, low predicted reliability and not-so-favourable fuel economy, acceleration, ride, front seat comfort, and accident avoidance.
