In its segment, the Mazda5 is the odd man out, with the Honda Odyssey taking top minivan consumer satisfaction ratings. Equipped with sliding side doors and three rows, the Mazda5 is the ideal mini minivan, and a great alternative to actually owning a van. However, according to Consumer Reports, owners were less than satisfied with the Mazda5’s fuel economy and acceleration, despite the Mazda5’s capable 2.5L 4-cyl (157 hp).
What Auto123.com thinks: The Mazda5 truly is a great minivan alternative. We’d still have a hard time heading to the dealer to buy one though…
