8. Nissan Pathfinder
A bit like Toyota’s Highlander, the Nissan Pathfinder has a tendency to get a little lost amid the bustle of this segment. Certainly spending time at the wheel can be a tedious affair. On the other hand, if you’re looking for comfort, this SUV is ready to coddle you – a quality I can personally attest to, having completed a Montreal-Los Angeles return trip in one. Even better, fuel consumption on the highway on that ride came to around 9.0L/100 km, with the back cargo space fully loaded. Nothing to write home about, the Pathfinder is, but it’s an impressive product nonetheless.
